NAIL CARE

Whilst toenail cutting is often a simple matter of grooming, we understand that many patients are unable to manage this themselves, due to problems with their toenails or feet, and therefore require professional help. Difficulty in cutting your toenails can be due to many reasons including:

  • Thickened (onychauxic) nails

  • Poor eyesight

  • Difficulty in using tools or bending down

  • Large nail tufts (nails bleeding when cut)

  • Nail pathology (ingrowing nails, involuted nails, nail fungus)

You may be able to cut your toenails well but have concerns with associated risks due to underlying health issues such as circulatory disorders or diabetes.

Our team of Podiatrists and Foot Health Practitioners will assess and diagnose any nail pathologies, providing a bespoke treatment plan for you in order to help you on your journey to great foot health!

In some cases where regular maintenance is required for simple nail cutting, we can offer shorter appointments. To ensure we offer you the best footcare possible you will need to book in for an initial assessment when you first visit us.
